What makes ‘My Safety Works’ documents so damn good?

Our documents have been developed with a very high level of compliance in mind. Our strategy is to keep things as simple as practicable, yet comprehensive enough if high-level accreditation is required.

Our HSEQ team consists of professionals who have worked at a high corporate level, where every little detail is expected to be covered and excellence is always the expectation. Our research leads us to believe we have the best and most affordable Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality documents available.

How do I amend and align the documents to my business?

All you need to do is align your business to the content of the document. Key areas to address are highlighted for you.

Examples are often provided for you (in red text) so that you can see what the document looks like and how the document actually works.

As it is much easier for you to simply take something out rather than develop something to go in, the documents are designed to give you more than what you actually need.

Please note that since Health, Safety Environmental and Quality are specialised fields, we are always happy to assist and guide you if you wish.

Can I view an example of the documents on offer?

Yes, you sure can.

We will be happy to provide an example of any of the documents that we have on offer.

How long will it take to receive my documents?

Your purchased documents will be emailed to you upon receipt of payment. This usually takes less than 10 minutes. If you have any issues receiving your documents, our support team can be reached on info@mysafetyworks.com.au

In what format are the documents?

Any document you purchase from My Safety Works is provided to you in Microsoft Word format, ready for you to edit as required. (You will need Microsoft Word installed on your computer).

Will the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality manuals and systems comply with AS/NZS ISO Standards?

Yes – our AS/NZS ISO manuals and systems are aligned to:

– AS/NZS ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems – Requirements.

– AS/NZS ISO 14001, Environmental Management Systems –  Requirements with Guidance for Use.

– AS/NZS ISO 45001, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems – Requirements with Guidance for Use.

Full accreditation to the above standards can be achieved.

Please note: It is not possible to buy an accredited system. Accreditation is a process that a business must go through to prove that they are implementing the requirements of the Standards. Our documents will certainly get you accredited when applied.

How are roles and responsibilities allocated?

In general, roles and responsibilities are tri-level, i.e. management, supervisory and employee/worker level. These levels can easily be expanded or decreased to suit your business.

How long does it take to implement a plan or system?

Really, this is one of those ‘how long is a piece of string’ scenarios. The time required will vary from business to business based on size, the resources and business complexity. With that said, we firmly believe that we have the best documents available (globally) to get you where you want to be.

One great option available to you is to partner with us on an ‘as needed’ basis. We can provide you with a competitive quote, so you can have your very own HSEQ Manager. This is a popular option and when a business is set up right from the get-go, maintenance is easy.

What makes your Workplace Health and Safety Management Plans so good?

The key differences with our WHS Management Plan include the following:

  • There is a fundamental legislative introduction and legislative references at the beginning of each section to assist with highlighting the importance of particular aspects of legal obligations and to guide Duty Holders to further information if needed.
  • The plan is designed around the concept of how a person may manage the safety of a project looking forward, rather than a strict step-by-step procedural concept. The aim is to allow flexibility with requirements.
  • The plan has images, graphics and diagrams within the content to enhance reader interest and assist with explanations.
  • The plan has important points identified by “Take Note” captions to draw the reader to significant points of relevance and to assist with the retention of important information.
  • A table listing related forms is at the end of each section, enabling one to see at a glance which forms, registers and checklists to use to enable compliance to that particular section.

What makes your safe work method statements so good?

We believe that we have created a unique blend of covering all of the requirements needed in a SWMS and simplicity. Experience tells us that a balance of ‘simple yet comprehensive’ is a great ratio for success. The layout of the SWMS’s has been really well received over the years. Principal contractors often ask for specific project criteria to be in SWMS, but we find we can always cover their needs easily with a little consultation.

What needs to be done after I receive my safe work method statement?

After you receive your safe work method statement, you will need to review it and align it to the specific job that you are planning to do. This should take minimal effort.

You will also need to consult all other persons involved in the work and include their input in the safe work method statement. Consultation is a very important component of Work Health and Safety legislation.

Can My Safety Works review the safe work method statement before we submit it to the Principal Contractor or Client?

Yes — and we highly recommend that you do. We will be happy to review the Safe Work Method Statement for you free of charge.
